Question by brezzy: What is the best die cut machine to do vinyl for the wall?
I know there is the Cricut, Silhouette, and Wishbone. I know the Silhouette and Cricut will cut vinyl but I was wondering if one is easier. Also the cricut has the personal cutter and expressions if one would work better for images for the wall. I scrapbook but I also like those sayings and images that are put up on to walls to decorate. Has anyone every used there’s for this. Thanks for all your help.
Also many designs show in color, if it is a cutting system how do they come out in color?

Silhouette, Wishblade and Gazelle are all cutters that were designed off of machines made first to cut just that, vinyl for sign shops. Cricut can do it I think if you buy the deeper cutting blade. Cricut is limited in cartridges and designs you buy unless you buy the designing software so you can do your own.
My silhouette does it ( depths adjusted manually and with blade covers as well as multiple cut options.) I don’t have a wishblade but heard they are ok but more expensive than a silhouette. Gazelle is the newest baby on the block but has much more pressure (can cut chipboard so it cuts through vinyl like butter!) It will cost you about $ 400 thought.
Silhouette, wishblade and gazelle can do fonts ( certain kinds) from your computer, you can buy portfolios of signs, buy downloads from online or design your own ( software upgrade recommended)
If you decide to go with SLI or Wish or Gazelle, I recommended yahoo groups for this areas as the ladies there ( and some men) are AWESOME and will help you work out all the kinks.
Good luck
